I know I don’t blog on here that often, but that’s just because there’s facebook, twitter, etc. so if you want updates on new designs, check them out at my social network pages. It’s finally 2012, and it’s time to start putting in real work.
I finally finished redesigning the website, and I am damn proud of it. It’s a new beginning, for I also completed redesigning my business cards. I am currently redesigning the Broward College website and coding the Koi Veloure site. More work is coming in, so I’m quite pleased to be putting my skills to use.
It has been quite awhile since I posted. My internship is over, however I have been put on payroll and a 3-year contract with Broward College. Their workflow that been picking up so I’m glad for that. I have finished 3 websites (including the college site), am building 2 more, and currently redesigning my portfolio website!
I finished the logo, business card, and most of the website. I’m just waiting on my client to give me photos for the gallery page and slideshow. My client still has to buy the domain name, and I can’t order the business cards until she has.
I am still working on the church’s logo. The pastor was on a trip and I just got confirmation on what they really want. I am going to try to get everything done by the end of February.
I have a confirmed design for the home page. I have taken photos of their gallery and some classrooms, but I’ll be taking more next Monday. I made designs for the four main departments (dance, music, theater, and visual arts), and I’m just waiting for those to be approved.
I am now doing a logo, business card, and website for an entrepreneur nail technician. I have already designed the logo and business card. This client is very easy to work with. We are currently just going over the layout of the website. I assume it’ll be live within the next week or 2.
I am designing the logo, identity package, brochure, and website for a Christian church. I am currently awaiting approval for the logo, so I can get started on the ID. They want everything done by the end of January, but I shall see how that goes…
As of 1 PM today, I have started my internship! I will be re-doing the website for Broward College. I will be working with the Dean and I know that the new website will be a great improvement. Since Broward is too far from my house, I’ll be working at my college. Thankfully the labs are open 24/7.
I finally found an internship (hopefully). I am meeting the supervisor on Monday, 1/11 at Broward College to discuss it further. The irony of it is that it is the ex-dean of my college and he is a pretty cool guy. Wish me the best!!!
